Safely keeping our schools open for in-person learning as consistently as possible is essential for our students’ health and well-being. There will be times when we will need to temporarily shift schools to 100% virtual learning due to COVID-related staffing challenges.

*1/17 4:00 p.m. Update: Based on this afternoon’s data review and with safety as our highest priority, six more schools will provide 100% virtual learning Tuesday, January 18th through Friday, January 21st. Read the latest update from Dr. Hite HERE.
ATTN NEHS Families: Due to a threshold level of positive COVID-19 cases across all grades at NEHS, the Phila. Dept. of Public Health (PDPH) has determined that students in all grades will temporarily shift to 100% virtual learning starting Wednesday, January 12th, for up to 10 days. Some grades may return to in-person learning sooner pending further case investigation by PDPH. School leaders will share more details about return dates for each grade level when they are determined by PDPH.
