Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive

Attention all staff!

The Annual Thanksgiving Turkey drive is underway! We would like to provide support to our families that may be financially challenged at this time. If you are aware of a family that may benefit from this fundraiser, please let us know as soon as possible.

It would be great if we could have the student’s, names, addresses, and phone numbers by 11/18/20. Our emails are listed below.

This year we are only accepting cash donations, gift cards, or store vouchers. We are mindful of COVID restrictions and feel this is the best way to proceed with the fundraiser.  Our goal is to collect $2500. With that amount we can give 30 families a donation of $75 to $100 to help with their dinners.  We are asking for donations to be sent to my Venmo account, (@Katrina-Kinning) by Friday, 11/20/20. That way we will be able to determine the amount each family will receive.

If you have a turkey voucher,store voucher, or gift card,  Ms Delarosa-Ortiz will be in the front of the school on Friday 11/20/20 from 12-3:00 pm. She will collect those. Families will be sent electronic gift cards if they prefer them. We will also be at the school on Tuesday, 11/24/20 to give out gift cards, and vouchers to our families. We are asking for support from our school family as well as from students that may want to give. We understand that this is different than what we normally do. Hopefully next year we will be back in the building and continue as we have in the past.
