Northeast Takes 1st and 2nd Place in Robotics
The Friday before break, the Northeast High School Robotics team competed in an underwater robot competition, Sea Glide, hosted by Temple University and Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). The Northeast Vikings took 1st place for Presentation and 2nd place in the White Paper. The team submitted a commercial for the Presentation category. The White Paper category is the competition’s name for the engineering portfolio, which contains the robot schematics, various engineering concepts, and a short literature review. The team was coached by Mr. Cione, and composed of Dan Yong, Brendan Le, Younas Al-Jaberi, Sarah Vu, Dena Pan, Benson Le, and Jared Vasquez-Solis.
