Northeast School Advisory Council (SAC)
NEHS School Advisory Council (SAC) is a collaborative team that works to improve student achievement, effective teaching in the classroom, and family and community engagement in the educational process. SAC is a school-based volunteer group made up of students, family members, school staff and community members. It is not solely a parent group, but it brings families, school staff, and community partners together to help our administrators and staff develop educational goals and formulate a school improvement plan to ensure students have the resources and support they need to succeed.

SAC 24-25 Goals:
One of our goals this year for (SAC) was to build a community partnership with local businesses in the area. Having a strong school- community engagement helps our students overall social, emotional, and physical well- being as well as provides meaningful, real-world life learning opportunities.
Thank you to our recent community partners (Burger King , WAWA , ACME and Sprayground). Your generous support has gone a long way in helping us to continue to provide outstanding rapport building opportunities, events and incentives to students.
If you would like to learn of more ways to support NorthEast High School this school year, please contact School Advisory Council (SAC) / Family Engagement designee, Ms. Angel Minor, anminor@philasd.org. We look forward to collaborating with you in the future.
